la Sauvageonne
2025 Saint-jean de la blaquière (hérault)Invited by Roque Architecture agency (Delphine Roque and Antonio Buonsante), and the decorator Hugo Rossi, the studio created a mural along a 10-meter corridor. A striking feature of Gérard Bertrand’s villa, the mural retraces the mythology of the landscape in which the villa is situated, amidst the biodynamic vineyards of a small Languedoc village, near Lake Salagou. The panoramic wallpaper was printed in France and then applied to the corridor’s vaulted ceiling to give this passageway a unique character. Several symbols depict a journey from the microscopic world to the macroscopic one so central to biodynamic agriculture.
